Woven

Woven is a third person action adventure game created by Alterego Games and published by StickyLock Studios. The game features a woven plush elephant exploring a woolen world. The player solves puzzles by swapping knitted animal parts for different abilities.

Unity Vision Cones

During my time at Alterego Games; I've created many tools for different game projects. One of these tools was a Vision Cone tool which was desired by the game design team during the Sanity of Morris project. There we had enemies which needed to know weather certain objects (such as the player) could be seen or not.

I ended up building the feature out of the ashes of another, which didn't see the light of day eventually. That approach used trigonometry to determine if an object is inside the vision code. By using the vector from the origin of the vision code; to the target trigger. These triggers keep track from which vision codes they are visible.

Rapsodo Game Mode

Rapsodo Game Mode is a side-app that is build for Rapsodo. It allows batters to feel like they are training inside of real baseball stadiums around the globe in the off-season. It allows for playing tournaments and structured exercises in a simulated environment. It is connected to hardware which tracks physical base- and softballs through a camera device.

Alterego Games Tools Framework

After the development of Woven and Sanity of Morris a lot of systems and tools were created to make the game making process easier from a technical and pipeline perspective. Especially after some tools written for Woven had gotten a second pass when being adapted for Sanity of Morris. After the second project was and the dust around the release had settled, we started planning the next project. During that time we, the developers, had some time of to prepare.

Easy Build Server

The 'Easy Build Server' was a piece of software developed for Alterego Games by me to easily orchestrate builds for multiple platforms on a server.
